The Orchards - Armada & Armada Village The Orchards - Armada & Armada Village offers campus wide services ranging from Independent Living to Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Care.

Independent Living Units are equipped with a fully functioning kitchens in each unit and a centralized laundry room. Our Independent Living has 20 apartments and beautiful public areas where you can socialize with families and friends. People who live here can enjoy community dining or dining on their own. Memory Care Assisted Living offers a supportive and secure environment for individuals with

dementia but still physically active. Our staff helps to maximize an individual's independence and pursuit of life goals within the parameters of safety. Our memory care programming uses a person centered, individualized approach to help each person achieve his or her potential and slow the progress o of the disease. Assisted Living offers residents who need more help than our independent living, but are not in need of skilled nursing or rehabilitation care. Residents who live in our Assisted Living area enjoy participation in meaningful activities where various levels of physical care may be needed. Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation offers full therapy services providing state of the art treatments for individuals looking to recover from surgery or a medical condition and return home. We are able to accommodate short and long term stays. Our dedicated Dementia wing supports people with more advanced Dementia and who require more extensive physical care. This specialized unit is staffed with individuals trained and/or certified in care for residents with Dementia. We are well established in our local community and have long term staff that care not only about our residents but the community at large. We encourage you to come visit us!

Back by popular demand!!! Last week we held another ORCHARDS AT ARMADA TALENT EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! As always there will be multiple posts.....we can't fit all this talent into one post!! 🤣 We started the day singing Happy Birthday to a resident we recently lost, had a wonderful show, then ended with a powerful moment of all of the audience and staff singing our National Anthem together!!! What an Awesome day!!!

We closed National Skilled Nursing Care Week by participating in the 1st Annual Orchards at Armada Olympics!!! We had 2 teams. Team #1 was made up of all Nursing staff and Team #2 was made up of a mix of other department staff. We found out that our staff are EXTREAMLY competitive!! They participated in a potato sack race, an egg toss, a relay race and tug of war! At the end of it all the teams ended in a tie!

What a week we had!!! We are blown away by the GENEROSITY of our amazing community!! The community really stepped up to help us celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week! The community showered our staff with gifts and amazing food!! We would like to thank Theut's Flower Barn, Amberly's Florist & Gifts, Assured Hospice Care, Subway, Tigers Den, Vinckier Foods, We The people, Peg Smith, Dr. Rojas (our Medical Director), Lindsey Langenderfer (our DON), Accent Home care and Bay Nursing. We are still in awe of the generosity from theses amazing businesses and people!! Please check out their businesses if you have not!!! We also celebrated with some fun themed days and special events. Watch for more posts with the fun details!! 😁 Here are a few pictures of some of the donations.....we didn't get pictures of everything ....we were having too much fun!!

Our Mother's Day Tea Party yesterday was so much fun!

We enjoyed a wonderful selection of teas, sweet treats, good conversation, and a very special visit from Tiny the horse (who isn't very tiny at all)! 🐴

Shoutout to one of our residents' family members for braving the chilly weather to ride him over for a visit!

Thank you to Assured Hospice Care Care for sponsoring our sweet treats and helping make the day extra special as we celebrated Mother's Day together.

It was so special to see our residents interact with Tiny, and the smiles on their faces made the day so memorable. Days like these remind us just how special our community is.

Our hearts are still so full after a special visit from the Anchor Bay High School Varsity Baseball team last weekend. Our residents had such a wonderful time chatting, laughing, and playing games with the team.❤️🤍

There is something truly special about bringing generations together, and this visit was the perfect reminder of that.
We are so grateful to the team for taking the time out of their busy schedules to spend with us. You made a lasting impact and truly brightened our community.
