Let's Play Ball!!!⚾🥜

Way back in June, residents were invited to attend various little league t-ball games in Armstrong. A couple residents had great-grandkids playing ball and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see them in action; they also got to sneak in some visiting with kids, grandkids, and friends.

Thank you to the community for allowing Valley Vue Care Center the space to attend just a few of these games and to those of you who make it a point to stop and visit with the residents. You help give residents the opportunity to get outside, see some different sights, and reminisce of past ball game experiences - and it is so fun to cheer on the kiddos, of course!!

Deb and Al K. are always so generous and accommodating to residents and staff at Valley Vue Care Center. Each summer, they invite us out to the lake in Ceylon for a picnic lunch where we have great conversation, good food, and gorgeous views. We had a fabulous time while out and even though it rained most of the time we were there, we all still had the best time!

Valley Vue Care Center residents have recently gotten to head out on the boat with the Let's Go Fishing Chapter in Fairmont. Residents hopped onto the pontoon, put on their life jackets, and enjoyed going for a ride around the lake. We learned interesting facts about the Fairmont lakes and reminisced through the ride. It was such a nice afternoon on the water!
