Today is the Day! Join us at Oscar’s Alehouse East this evening 5-9p for our annual Think Pink celebration! 10% of all food and drink sales at Oscar’s (today 11a-10p) benefit Pinked Perspective. We will be onsite 5-9p with fun raffles, Pinked Gear for sale and celebration of all the Pink Warriors! If you can’t make it to the event, 10% of sales on Carry-out orders also benefits Pinked.) Join us next weekend at for a very special strength workout and kit assembly with Pinked Perspective in support of the Pink Warriors within our community and beyond. Kristin and her team have been more than generous to Pinked as they have hosted several of our Empower Hour workshops and are now making room for any that would like to spend a Saturday morning together in support of those facing breast cancer treatment.

Come for a strength workout and stay to assemble a breast cancer kit or two!

A few weeks ago we had the honor of doing kit assembly with our friends at Pink for Patsy Pink for Patsy on the eastern shore in Queenstown, MD. We are so thankful for their support of Pinked Perspective and the pink warriors that are walking through treatment in our area of Maryland.

On Oct 20th Pink for Patsy is hosting an annual crab feast in Queen Anne’s County to raise support for their ongoing mission to provide for those going through treatment in loving memory of Patricia Harris. They have sold out of tickets to the crab feast this year, but be sure to join their mailing list to stay up to date on all of their fun events and the impact they are having on those facing a breast cancer diagnosis in our area.

We are thrilled to have a new Pinked Partner this year! The Human Bean of Pasadena, MD The Human Bean heard about our mission last year thanks to Severna Park Voice and asked if Pinked would be the beneficiary of their “Coffee for a Cure”event this October. We will be onsite for this incredible event! Please come see us and grab a beverage and one for your favorite Pink Warrior at The Human Bean (8553 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena, MD) next Friday Oct 16th 5:30a-7p. 100% of sales for the day will be donated to Pinked Perspective! Wow!🫶🏻

Today is our first of several “Pinked Tuesdays” at Oscars Alehouse in Pasadena! We are thrilled to be partnering with Oscar’s Alehouse East again this October. Stop in for lunch, dinner or a drink any Tuesday this month in support of Pinked Perspective! 10% of sales go to Pinked. And be sure to mark your calendar for Tuesday, Oct 27th when we will Think Pink together as a community at Oscars! Pinked Perspective will be on site with raffles and to celebrate the Pink Warriors.

Let this be your reminder on this first “Manic Monday” of October to schedule that mammogram and do that self-breast exam. I felt my lump myself 15 years ago and remember my friend Mary Porter Scine telling me DON’T wait to get it checked out. We all need breast exams and good friends! 🩷
