A message from Shania, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, MEP-C, Owner on LABOR DAY 🤍:

Happy Labor day to all my friends and followers.

I got my first job at 14 years old.

Since then, I’ve worked in fast food. I’ve served tables. Bartended. Retail sales. Used to be a dishwasher. Served our community helping with art teaching and child care. Worked as a dialysis technician. As a home health nurse. I’ve worked long hours, late nights, weekends + jobs that taught me what hard work meant long before I understood where it was taking me.

I always dreamed about entrepreneurship. About building something of my own.

I just didn’t know how, where or when.

There was no perfect roadmap. Just a vision I couldn’t shake, consistency + a willingness to keep showing up for the people around me. To serve a bigger purpose.

And of all the jobs I’ve had, entrepreneurship has been the hardest job of them all.

Building AMANI has stretched me, humbled me + required more of me than I ever imagined. But it has also given purpose to so many of those earlier seasons. The long shifts. The sacrifices. The jobs that felt thankless.

None of it was wasted. It was building me for something I couldn’t see yet.

Today, I also have an entirely different appreciation for the people who show up and work hard alongside me. As a small business owner, I see the employees who care. The ones who pour into the business, take pride in their work + show up even when no one is applauding them. I value that more than they probably realize—because I’m still right there hustling alongside them.

So this Labor Day, I just want to say... keep working hard. Keep chasing the dream. Keep showing up for the people you work for + take pride in what you put your name on.

When you shine through your work, the people who truly value you do see it.

My dreams are bigger than ever, and I still feel like I’m just getting started.

✨ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: EMILY 🤍

When Emily joined AMANI, she truly came in and set the standard for what a Medical Assistant should look like in aesthetics and wellness. She brought nearly three years of Medical Assisting experience and a strong foundation from family practice, and watching her grow that knowledge into the specialties of aesthetics, skin health, and wellness has been something we are incredibly proud of.

But her work ethic is only a small part of why we love her.

Emily is one of the most resilient people I have ever met. Life can throw something at her, and somehow she takes it, learns from it, grows from it, and keeps moving forward. She is compassionate, soft-spoken, patient, caring, incredibly attentive to detail, and genuinely beautiful inside and out.

She cares deeply about our patients. Her favorite part of working at AMANI is getting to watch their results unfold and seeing their confidence grow throughout their treatment journey—and I think that says so much about the kind of person she is.
