This work has always been rooted in presence, trust, and making sure people feel supported in their choices and their bodies
There are so many ways to move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I believe care should reflect the individual, not the system. 🫶🏽

Did you know Lactation is my absolute jam? All of it. I'm here for the first latch, for the hard parts. Here for those middle of the night tears when you can't figure out why the latch isn't quite right. When you're never quite sure if you're baby is getting enough. Should you wake the baby? What time is it? How long for each side? Should you be triple feeding? What about the pump? 🍼
I should be writing some type of practice guideline or creating a handout on homeopathy and registering for my last trimester of Midwifery School. Instead I am trying to figure out how to navigate the incredibly difficult pathways obtain my IBCLC so I can take insurance. 🫠 The joys of community care and owning a business. Lactation is still my jam though.

Sometimes PostPartum visits can just be checking in on the birthing person. A little bit of lactation support. Maybe filling a water glass I'm making sure they're eating while listening to the client process their experience. That's what the text says it is. But it's also worth noting that sometimes PostPartum visits include all of that and folding endless baskets of laundry and harvesting 30 pounds of produce. There are so many ways my clients fill my heart and feed my home and it feels so good to be in community with them.

Only two more trimesters of school, a lot of paperwork, plenty of births and some studying for the NARM to go. 🧡

Life update! As a student midwife, I am evolving from theory to practice, developing muscle memory, and honing my skills into an art. I am continuing to take one to two Birth Doula clients per month and am working as a student at a homebirth practice that serves the greater Denver area. I'm here. I'm thriving. I am loved and supported and I live in my passion. Reach out if I can support you!

Hi Friends!! A little update from yours truly. I am wrapping up my first trimester of Phase Two as a here in Colorado. I have been attending clinic and births with my two wonderful preceptors Geneva and Sena of Sacred Birth and am so grateful for the opportunity to expand under their guidance. I am still taking a limited amount doula clients here in the Denver area and have been connecting and collaborating with some wonderful birth workers in the community. I hope to have some more offerings as we step into fall so stay tuned! 🤟

Greetings from ✨Colorful Colorado✨ I am excited to announce that I have relocated to Colorado as I start phase 2 of my midwifery journey!! 📚🩺🩺🌿 Thank you to all my wonderful family, clients and colleagues for supporting me along the way. I still love and appreciate all your warm referrals and work closely with the Los Angeles birth community in making sure they are intentionally filled. If you have any Denver or Boulder area refferals send them my way with a warm hug. 🥰 I will be taking a few doula clients while working under my midwives preceptors here in the area. and forever 💕
