Untethered Recovery wouldn’t be what it is without one person willing to believe in an idea, build a team around it, and continuing on through all the chaos that comes with helping people rebuild their lives.
Thank you, Adam, for your leadership, your trust in your team, your sense of humor, and most importantly, for believing that people deserve opportunities to grow, change, and build something better!
Happy National Boss’s Day to our Founder and CEO, Adam Kimber!
We appreciate you... Even when we’re adding more stuff to your calendar.

Mental Health Awareness Week is coming to an end, but the conversation shouldn't be. At Untethered Recovery, we understand mental health and substance abuse don't exist n separate worlds. while people may use substances to help cope with symptoms, substance abuse can intensfy mental health conditions.
As Mental Illness Awareness Week wraps up, we just hope you’ll carry one thing forward... Be curious before you judge. Be compassionate before you assume. And never underestimate what someone may be carrying that you cannot see.
A diagnosis can tell us something about what a person is experiencing, but it never tells us who they are.

If you've been searching for answers, it may be time to talk to someone. Depression can affect your energy, sleep, motivation, relationships, and everyday life. You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable to ask for help.

October is a big month for awareness!
October recognizes ADHD Awareness Month, Depression Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Substance Use Prevention Month, along with several important awareness days and weeks that we’ll be highlighting along the way...
Awareness is about more than knowing a name or recognizing a ribbon. It’s about understanding people better, reducing stigma, starting conversations, and making it easier to ask for help. We want to help make space for those conversations!

You don't have to use opioids to carry naloxone.
You can be a parent. Friend. Coworker. Roommate. Neighbor. Peer. Teacher. Community member.
All you have to be is someone who might be there when another person needs help.
Carrying naloxone is community care.

Young people need support that meets them where they're at emotionally, mentally, and behaviorally, with families and communities that know how to walk alongside them.
When youth have better access to peer support, recovery-friendly schools, good mentors,, family resources, and spaces where they feel they truly belong, recovery has room to grow.

Every young person deserves to be validated, loved and supported in their recovery, and as they grow!

Awareness matters. Support matters. Compassion matters.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders can affect learning, behavior, emotional regulation, memory, and daily functioning, but every child born with FASD is much more than a diagnosis.

This month is about replacing judgment with compassion and understanding, reducing shame, supporting families, increasing access to education and services, and creating environments where all people can thrive.

More education.
More patience.
More support.
More compassion.

There are moments when pain can make the future feel impossible to see. Feelings can (and will) change, circumstances change, and support can help carry you through the parts that feel just too heavy to hold alone...
You don't have to figure it all out today. You don't have to pretend everything is okay.
Please, just stay long enough to let someone help.

You matter. Your life matters. Your story isn't over yet.
