I’m honored to be a co-author on this newly published research in the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, recognized as part of the 2025 Neer Award (Part 2). This study from the PMADS trial examined whether personality, motivation, or psychological factors influence rehabilitation success after reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
Our findings highlight that these personal characteristics were not associated with success or failure of surgeon-directed home therapy, offering important insights for patient care and rehabilitation planning. Grateful to collaborate with an outstanding group of colleagues on this work.
