Arvada Therapy Solutions, LLC Arvada Therapy Solutions, LLC provides counseling services to children, teens, adults, couples and families, and provides resources to the community.

I believe that everyone has the strength to get through whatever life throws at us; whether due to our own choices or situations outside of our control. It is this inner strength and resilience that I strive to find in each of my clients to use during the therapy process. Whether you are a five-year-old dealing with the transitions of a divorce, a parent dealing with the seemingly insurmountable task of parenting a teenager, a tween dealing with the seemingly insurmountable task of surviving middle school, or an adult dealing with a past trauma, we all have the strength and resiliency to heal. Working together we will build on these strengths and build your resiliency to work through the issues that brought you to counseling and to take with you to survive and thrive when the world throws you for a loop. I feel honored to be a part of this process for so many people and look forward to helping you reach your goals and obtain the life you want to live. Arvada Therapy Solutions, LLC provides a strength-based and collaborative approach to counseling for children, teens, adults, couples and families. It is our goal to improve the community in which we work and live and offer services to those who can afford mental health counseling and to those who are unable to afford counseling in a private practice setting. Sessions are scheduled by appointment only. All therapists at Arvada Therapy Solutions are available for afternoon and evening appointments. Appointments are also available every other Saturday. We are excited to introduce a new part of Arvada Therapy Solutions: ATS Professional Education.

Our goal is to offer practical, engaging training that helps clinicians feel more prepared for the complicated situations that do not always receive enough attention in graduate school.

We are beginning with an area our team cares deeply about: domestic violence, coercive control, and post-separation abuse.

Our first live online course is:

Post-Separation Abuse: Clinical Assessment and Intervention With Protective Parents and Children

Friday, October 30
9:00–10:30 a.m. Mountain Time

This training will examine post-separation abuse through a pattern-based clinical lens. Participants will explore tactics such as stalking, continued isolation, financial abuse, use of children, and legal and systems-based abuse. We will also consider how ongoing coercive control may affect the clinical presentation of protective parents and children.

The introductory launch price is $27.

Registration also includes access to our on-demand course, Understanding Coercive Control: A Pattern-Based Framework for Clinical Assessment, at no additional cost.

These initial courses do not offer continuing education credit. ATS Professional Education is currently working toward becoming an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider.

If you are a mental health professional, practice owner, clinical supervisor, or agency leader, we would love to have you or members of your team join us. We also welcome your feedback as we continue developing future trainings.

I'll throw the link to register in the comments below.
