Recently KY3 did a news story on pharmacy closures in the Springfield area. Walgreens and CVS pharmacies have both permanently closed some of their locations in southwest Missouri. In addition to the locations they shut down, many of their other locations have been intermittently closed due to staffing issues.

As part of the story they interviewed our pharmacist and co-owner Colby Grove onsite at our sister location The Pharmacy @ Pleasant Hope. This news story created some confusion for some of our customers so we wanted to make this post to offer some clarity.

We are NOT closing and it is business as usual at Ash Grove Pharmacy. We want you to know that we are here to help you every day. We love our community and we take providing your pharmacy services very seriously. We aren't going anywhere!

We bought Ash Grove Pharmacy 7 years ago in that time we have NEVER been closed other than Sundays and Holidays. Not for snow storms, flooding, or even ice storms. We love our Ash Grove, Bois D'Arc, Everton, Walnut Grove, and Willard communities and we take providing your pharmacy services very seriously. We aren't going anywhere!

In honor of Memorial Day, our pharmacy will be closed on Monday as we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Please plan ahead and pick up any needed prescriptions to ensure you have everything you need.

We are incredibly grateful for our community and for those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and peaceful Memorial Day weekend.
