Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Hawaii Day by embracing some island vibes! Dressed in colorful flower leis and fun sunglasses, everyone enjoyed a tropical-themed day filled with smiles and plenty of cheerful spirit.

The festive celebration brought a splash of sunshine indoors and gave residents a chance to relax, socialize, and enjoy a fun change of pace. It was a wonderful reminder that a little tropical flair can brighten anyone's day.

Our residents put their taste buds to the test during a hilarious Sour Candy Taste Test, and let's just say... there were some unforgettable expressions! From squinty eyes to puckered lips, everyone gave it their best shot as they sampled a variety of sour treats.

To make things even sweeter, we awarded prizes for the best pucker face, and the competition was fierce!

🇺🇸❤️ Throwing it back to a fantastic Fourth of July celebration at Ashton Grove!

The festivities began with our Independent Living residents showing off their patriotic spirit during a festive golf cart parade outside. The celebration continued indoors with an Assisted Living parade, bringing plenty of smiles and red, white, and blue cheer to the community.

To top off the day, everyone enjoyed a delicious visit from the Spotz Gelato truck, the perfect sweet treat to cool down on a warm summer afternoon!

From parades to gelato, it was a wonderful day filled with community spirit, celebration, and time spent together. 🎆🍨

Caring for a loved one can be deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. Ashton Grove Senior Living invites caregivers to join our Memory Loss Empowerment Group, a monthly support group offering connection, understanding, and encouragement in a welcoming environment.

July 20: “Positive Approach to Care”

This group meets on the third Monday of each month and provides a safe space for caregivers to share experiences, ask questions, and gain insights from others on a similar journey. This group meets in our assisted living activities room.
