A mammogram is NOT the best test for a ruptured silicone implant

MRI is the gold standard

I’ve seen implants removed based on the wrong test…
and they weren’t ruptured

Mammograms are great for cancer screening
just not for diagnosing implant rupture

If you’ve been told your implant is ruptured
get a second opinion
