Manifestation is one of those words that comes with baggage. 😱

Vision boards 👀, dream houses 🏡, “Just think positive!” 🧘🏻‍♀️, or maybe even waiting for the universe to drop something wonderful in your lap 🪐.

The Art of Manifesting Method™ explores what happens when you take an intention 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 and begin working with it 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫.

A line might go somewhere you didn’t expect, or you choose a symbol or a color without having a reason for it. Something keeps showing up while something else may feel surprisingly difficult. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝, 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞.

You can approach the process spiritually if that’s meaningful to you. There’s also plenty of room to simply be curious about what your own choices and reactions might show you.

On October 10 at VALO, I’ll guide you through that process, and afterward Megan will lead us into a restorative sound bath so there’s time to sit with the experience before rushing back into the rest of the weekend.

You don’t have to believe in manifestation in any particular way to join us. I didn’t go to VALO looking for a collaboration. I went for a sound bath.

Afterward, Megan and I started talking, and during that conversation the idea came up: what would happen if we paired the kind of intention-based drawing I facilitate with the kind of sound experience she creates?

𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞. You make choices, notice what comes up, follow what catches your attention, and often surprise yourself as you go.

𝐀 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞. You get comfortable and receive.

Putting those two together felt interesting and exciting enough that we decided to try it.

On October 10, that’s exactly what we’re doing at VALO. I’ll guide the first part through the Art of Manifesting Method™, and Megan will lead us into the sound bath afterward.

It’s a brand-new collaboration, which means I don’t have a polished story yet about what everyone will experience or how they’ll feel afterward.

🎉 Today, VALO turns two! 🎉

On October 1, 2024, I opened Valo Massage & Reiki with one treatment table, a lot of hope, and no idea what this community would become.

Two years later, VALO has grown into so much more than I imagined. We've welcomed new practitioners like Michele Barlock & Meg O'Hara, gathered for workshops and group healing nights, added new services, and this February, we're heading to Sedona for our first women's retreat, Return to Your Light.

What hasn't changed is why I do this. Every day, I hope I helped someone feel a little less pain, a little more rested, or simply seen.

To every client, every friend who shared my name, and every person who walked through the door for the first time feeling unsure: THANK YOU. You built this with me. 💛

I can't wait to see what year three holds for all of us.

A few months ago, I went to a sound bath at VALO and ended up talking with Megan afterward about creativity, slowing down, and the kind of experiences we both love creating for people.

On October 10, Megan and I are bringing our work together for a two-hour Art of Manifesting Method™ + Sound Bath Mini-Retreat at VALO in Ashburn.

I’ll guide you through an intention-based AM Method™ drawing experience using simple lines, shapes, symbols, color, and intuitive choices. Then we’ll put the pens down, get comfortable, and Megan will guide us through a restorative sound bath.

𝐈’𝐦 𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨. The drawing gives you something active and creative to explore, while the sound bath gives you time to stop doing, listen, and let the experience settle.

And no, you do not need to know how to draw or know anything about the AM Method™ beforehand.

This is a brand-new collaboration for both of us, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens when we bring these two experiences together.
