💪 CREATINE: It’s Not Just for Muscle
Creatine is one of the most researched supplements in the world. Most people know it for improving strength and exercise performance—but its benefits may extend well beyond the gym and finally research and the general population is beginning to understand these benefits.
What creatine does:
⚡ Helps replenish ATP—your cells’ rapid energy source
💪 Supports strength, power, and lean muscle gains with resistance training
🧠 Supports brain energy and cognitive function
🧠 May improve memory, particularly in certain populations or when brain energy demands are higher, crucial to the aging brain
😴 May help reduce some of the cognitive effects of sleep deprivation (use 10-20grams with caffeine in the AM for sleep deprivation)
👵 Emerging research suggests potential benefits for healthy brain aging
Why?
Your muscles AND your brain require a tremendous amount of energy. Creatine helps maintain the cellular energy system and is crucial to the ATP system.
That’s why I don’t think of creatine as simply a “muscle supplement.”
Think of it as a cellular energy supplement.
And as we age, maintaining muscle, strength, and brain health becomes even more important.
Simple. Affordable. Well-researched.
Creatine deserves a conversation beyond the weight room.
