Since 1985, nonprofit, local Mercy Urgent Care has provided care for more than 1.5 million patients, including nearly a half-million dollars in uncompensated care annually.

To show our appreciation for our amazing team, we celebrated Staff Appreciation Week May 25-29. We are incredibly proud of the remarkable work everyone does to ensure that our patients receive excellent care delivered with compassion, dignity, and mercy every single day. As part of our celebrations, Facilities Manager Robert Davis provided his portable grill to serve lunch for our clinic and business office staff at 7 of our centers. Join us in congratulating the 2026 graduates of Leadership Asheville! Mercy Urgent Care President & CEO Rachel Sossoman had the honor of delivering this year's commencement speech. LA is a ten-month, cohort-based experience for emerging and established leaders from across the region.
