At Family Care of Fairview, located in Asheville, North Carolina, we offer compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to people in the Reynolds community. Diana F. Bradley, MD, founded the practice in 2001 with the mission of providing efficient, cost-effective, and considerate care to all patients. Our practice offers a wide-variety of services, ranging from acute needs to management of chronic c

onditions. All of our providers help you preserve your health with regular check-ups and comforts and supports your family’s total wellness. Family Care of Fairview empowers you to take control of your health. Our providers and staff partner with you to add quality years to your life by preventing and managing illness, if it arises. You’ll be supported in staying healthy, and looking your best, with primary care services and some cosmetic service support. Family Care of Fairview knows that choosing a doctor is no small task. Our providers take the time to get to know you, your health needs, and your health concerns in an effort to give you a wide range of support. Our health services include, but are not limited to:

We also know that this can come with questions & frustrations! To help, we’re sharing this Phreesia FAQ that answers many of the most common questions we receive about check-in, forms, reminders, payments, and more.

While completing forms is not anyone’s favorite part of a medical visit, they are necessary whether they’re completed before you arrive or while you’re sitting in our office. We want you to know that new doesn’t always mean more. While Phreesia may look and feel different, the paperwork itself isn’t new—it’s information we’re required to collect as part of your care. Completing it ahead of time allows you to do it on your terms, rather than using valuable time in the office filling out forms. Ultimately, we want to make the necessary parts of healthcare a little more convenient for you.

✨INTRODUCING: McKenzie Yerkes, PA-C✨

There's something special about welcoming someone new into our practice family and we're thrilled to officially introduce McKenzie as the newest addition to our provider team!

McKenzie moved to Asheville to pursue her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant studies at South College. Prior to living in the mountains, she lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree from Tulane University and worked in an interventional pain management practice.

McKenzie’s background in public health shaped her passion for disease prevention, health education, and helping patients make sustainable changes that improve their overall well-being. She strives to empower patients with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their health.

Outside of the office, McKenzie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat. She loves exploring the outdoors through paddle boarding, golfing, and hiking, along with reading, needlepointing, and exploring new restaurants (with gluten-free options).

❤️After more than four decades of compassionate care, countless conversations, and a lifetime dedicated to serving others, it is with both gratitude and bittersweet emotion that we announce Rick's upcoming retirement.

Rick will continue seeing a limited schedule of patients through October 30, 2026.

For many in our community, Rick has been more than a healthcare provider. He's been a trusted advisor, a steady presence through life's challenges, and someone who has walked alongside generations of families in their healthcare journeys. The relationships he has built over the years are a true testament to the kind of provider—and person—he is.

While we know this news may be difficult for many to hear, we couldn't be happier for Rick as he prepares to begin this well-earned next chapter. Few people have the opportunity to leave behind a legacy as meaningful as his.

If you are currently one of Rick's patients, our team is here to help ensure a smooth transition of your care. We encourage you to begin establishing care with another provider, either within our practice or elsewhere, before his retirement so there is no interruption in your healthcare.

Over the coming months, we'll be creating opportunities to celebrate Rick and the incredible impact he has made on our patients, our team, and our community.

Please join us in thanking Rick for 48 years of exceptional service and wishing him all the best in his retirement. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he has touched. ❤️

MEET MAKAILA!

Makaila is the Medical Assistant for Anne Parker, FNP. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and supported throughout their healthcare experience. Outside of work, Makaila enjoys spending time with family and friends, cuddling with her cat, Lincoln, exploring the outdoors, and reading. She is dedicated to continuing to grow in her healthcare career and is excited to be part of a team that shares her passion for improving the health and well-being of the community.

Sinus pressure and related symptoms can be miserable.

Did you know... most sinus infections are viral (yep, about 95%), meaning rushing to take antibiotics won't actually help. What will help is getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated and treating the symptoms with over the counter medications and remedies.

If symptoms linger or worsen, it's time to give us a call.

Meet Tori ✨
Tori began her career in healthcare in 2019 and has since gained experience in both pediatrics and primary care. In her role at Family Care of Fairview, she enjoys supporting & contributing across multiple areas of the practice. While she primarily works remotely, patients may occasionally see her in the office supporting the front desk or serving as a Medical Assistant.

Outside of work, Tori enjoys spending time on her family farm, caring for her chickens, dogs, horses, and donkeys. She also treasures time with her husband, Hunter, and their son, Walker.
