🌿 Tick Safety for Kids 🐜

Spending time outdoors is great for kids—but it’s important to protect them from ticks, especially during warmer months.

👶 Help Keep Your Child Safe:
✅ Dress kids in long sleeves, long pants, and light-colored clothing
✅ Use child-safe insect repellents (ask us if you need recommendations!)
✅ Avoid tall grass and wooded areas when possible
✅ Do a full-body tick check after outdoor play (don’t forget behind ears, scalp, and under arms!)
✅ Bathe or shower soon after coming inside
🐾 Don’t Forget Pets! They can bring ticks into your home.

🩺 If You Find a Tick:
Remove it promptly with fine-tipped tweezers, clean the area, and monitor your child for symptoms like fever, fatigue, or a rash. Contact our office if you have any concerns—we’re here to help!

We would like to inform our community about an important safety recall involving Darice Timeless Minis toys.
These items are being recalled due to the presence of lead levels that exceed the federal lead paint safety standards, which may pose a serious risk to children.

The affected products include miniature versions of:
- Red wagons
- Watering cans
- Chairs
