Thank you for all the referrals! Well Woven is growing. Looking ahead, Well Woven MAY be expanding its physician team in the next year or two. We have a particular interest in physicians who, like Dr. Lok, takes an integrative approach (conventional and root cause/evidence based holistic). Dr. Lok is an early career female physician and we invite a physician who differs from Dr. Lok that can help grow Woven Woven or or who bring specialized training that complements Dr. Lok's — including but not limited to Group Medical Visits, OB, pediatrics, geriatrics, IUD placements, group medical visits, Spanish-speaking care, ASL language, and vasectomy training.

Just had local Henco Reprographics make this window decal to help our veterans know they're at the right place when they arrive for their veteran disability exam.

We are a Direct Primary Care clinic on the border of Asheville and Weaverville NC but we also do veteran disability exams through QTC/TDB for the VA.

From Dr. Lok, "Sometimes I try new health technologies in town for fun and sometimes to see if my patients could benefit. This one was both. I'm not a runner per se but how you run is how you move and how you move is how you prevent lifelong pain."

Who doesn't love a new toy!

Just got in a new initial hearing screener for kiddos: 4 frequencies. Per screening guidlines, kids are to be screened at their well child checks at age 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 along with their newborn screen.

We see mostly adults but also kiddos here and there!

parsley, cilantro and lettuce

🥬 NCDHHS continues to investigate the increase in cyclosporiasis cases across North Carolina alongside the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services and local partners.

While the source has not yet been confirmed, parsley, cilantro and lettuce are among the foods most commonly reported by people who became sick. These ingredients have not been confirmed as the source but remain part of the ongoing investigation.

To help reduce your risk:
✔️ Wash your hands before preparing food.
✔️ Rinse fresh fruits and vegetables under running water.
✔️ Consider fully cooking parsley, cilantro and lettuce if using them in meals until more is known.
✔️ If you have severe or ongoing diarrhea, contact your health care provider.

NCDHHS will continue providing updates as the investigation progresses.
