Summer is made for sunshine and time outside — and we’re sharing a few simple precautions to help you stay safe and enjoy every moment. As warmer weather brings more people outdoors, emergency rooms often see more injuries and illnesses related to heat, overexertion and recreational activities.

As part of HCA Healthcare, we are connected to a broader network of care spanning 19 states and the U.K., making it easier to get the care you need, when and where you need it. Taking a moment to plan ahead can help you know where to go for timely treatment.

CarePartners was honored to be a sponsor of the recent 50th Anniversary Celebration of Meals on Wheels of Asheville & Buncombe Co., Inc. recognizing five decades of dedication to helping older adults remain healthy, independent and connected to their community.

Many of our CarePartners teams work alongside Meals on Wheels regularly and see firsthand the difference their volunteers and staff make in the lives of local seniors. From delivering nutritious meals to providing a friendly face and wellness check, Meals on Wheels offers support that extends far beyond food.

Today, the organization serves approximately 700 seniors each weekday across Buncombe County, helping neighbors age safely and with dignity in their own homes.

We are grateful for community partners like Meals on Wheels whose work strengthens the health and well-being of Western North Carolina.

Congratulations on 50 years of service, compassion and impact. We look forward to continuing this important partnership for years to come.
