🐴 A Day Full of Muzzles, Nuzzles & Smiles ❤️

Today our Skylark residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Equamore Foundation, where they spent time meeting some truly incredible horses and learning about the sanctuary’s mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care.

From gentle pets and nose boops to curious conversations and plenty of “muzzles and nuzzles,” the horses brought smiles to everyone’s faces. It’s amazing how these gentle giants have a way of creating moments of peace, connection, and joy.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers at Equamore for welcoming us and sharing these beautiful animals with our residents. Experiences like these remind us that some of life’s most meaningful moments happen through simple connections.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit! 🐎💙

Today we say a bittersweet farewell to Nick as he begins an exciting new chapter with Bristol Hospice Rogue Valley.

In just 10 months, Nick made a tremendous impact on our Memory Care community. Through his leadership, dedication, and heart, he helped bring positive changes to our program, filled our Memory Care neighborhood with new residents, and created a welcoming environment for both families and staff. His compassion and commitment to those we serve have been truly appreciated.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Nick has done for Skylark Senior Living and wish him nothing but success in this next chapter. Bristol Hospice is gaining someone who truly leads with heart.

As we say goodbye, we’re also excited to welcome Kim, who will be joining the Skylark family as our new Memory Care Program Manager in mid-July. We look forward to the passion and experience she’ll bring as we continue building on the strong foundation that’s been created.

What a wonderful day at Skylark! 💜

Our community garage sale was a huge success, raising just over $300 for our Walk to End Alzheimer’s team!

From cleaning out closets and discovering hidden treasures to sharing laughs with neighbors and supporters, today was about so much more than a garage sale. It was about coming together for a cause that touches so many lives.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items, stopped by to shop, volunteered their time, and cheered us on. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

We’re already looking forward to September’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s—and we’re just getting started! 💜
