Hudson Schuler Is Back!!❤️
This is what Ashland Prosthetic’s loves to see from a loyal patient who moved out of town, but had to come back to say hello to a prosthetic staff who love him!!
When he pulled in at our office today, I noticed him stepping out of his car and looking up at our business sign at the top of our building with a big smile on his face, as to say, I’m home! So I had to snap the picture.
I would be lying if I said this didn’t bring tears to my eyes, because it really did. By the expression along with that smile on his face, I could see that Hudson was really happy to be back and that he missed us.
We definitely missed him too!
We’re so proud of all the accomplishments he’s made. He has both legs amputated above his knees, and walks terrifically using prosthetic limbs. He does not use any kind of support such as crutches, walker, or cane.
This young man works 40 to 45 hours a week and is on his legs from the time he gets out of bed in the morning, until he lays down at night to sleep.
Hudson, who is a bilateral,(right/left) above knee amputee has been a member of our “Prosthetic Family” since he was 17 years old. Now he’s a 20 year old man who has accomplished so much in those few years. When this young man was first a patient of ours, he was asked what he would like to do in life.
His answer was, “I want to get a job and work hard”.
He then moved to Lexington, Kentucky when he was 18 years old, and almost immediately received a job at a popular car dealership as a car salesman.
This guy is an amazing salesperson as he was selling cars and trucks almost every single day for several weeks at his new job.
Last month, on June 16th, Hudson was hired at the Toyota plant in Georgetown, Ky. He now has a great job and a bright future ahead of him.
We’re so blessed to continue servicing Hudson with his prosthetic limbs. I feel God honestly sent him our way and I’m so thankful for that!
Welcome back Hudson, We Love You!!❤️
