May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental Health America founded Mental Health Awareness Month in 1949 to promote mental wellness across the United States.

This year’s theme is “More Good Days, Together," encouraging us to reflect on what a “good” day looks like, both for ourselves, and for our communities. Opening the floor for discussions on how to better support ourselves and one another as well.

Spring has officially sprung! As the weather grows warmer, and the school year begins to wind down, now is the perfect time to focus on getting off screens and allowing kids to play.
Unstructured play helps children develop a stronger sense of confidence, encourages creativity, and emotional growth.

Sand tray therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses miniature figures and a tray of sand to help clients express thoughts, emotions, and experiences with out relying on verbal communication.

By creating scenes or playing in the sand, individuals can explore internal conflicts, process trauma, and build insight in a safe space.

Sand tray therapy works to support emotional regulation, self-discovery, and healing—especially when words feel hard to find.
