Everyone who enters the program at AIM is valued for their participation within the group, school, and community.Founded in 1988, Ashland Institute of Massage is one of the premier massage schools in Oregon. Our school has maintained longevity and consistent standards of excellence by keeping current with the trends of the industry. AIM graduates scored at the top of state levels every year during the reign of the Practical Exam by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists, and currently retain among the highest passing rates nationally of the national exam. Our curriculum continues to reflect advancing awareness of the marvels of the human body while keeping a solid foundation of bodywork and interpersonal skills woven throughout. Bryn McCamley, LMT and Laureen Sutton, LMT have owned Ashland Institute of Massage since 2012. Both graduates of AIM at different intervals as well as long-time instructors, they have taken AIM to new levels of competence, integrity, and fun! Some fun off the tables and onto the floor for a 2-day intensive on Thai Massage techniques.

This specialty course is one of our favorite switch-ups near the end of the program. It always brings a fresh and creative perspective to bodywork techniques. We're grateful for the knowledge Thai instructor D'vorah brings to the floor!

We have entered a month of reflection, integration, and tying it all together before we wrap it all up. Quite a bit happens in this final month of school.

Students fully complete their sciences, bodywork, and professional development courses. Our Student Clinic sessions with the community come to a close. And with introspection, a review of the entire ten-month journey begins.

This is all leading to their cumulative practical exam, the national MBLEX exam, and a big graduation celebration at the end of it all.

It is but a short, long way to go! 📚

Please join us for this fortuitous partnership between AIM and the Barral Institute, offering the first in their series of Visceral Manipulation courses.

In this course, you will be introduced to methods of evaluation and treatment is based on the concept that each of our internal organs rotates on a physiological axis. Focus is on the abdominal cavity and includes the organs, their membranes, ligaments, innervation, and their spatial functional interrelationships. You will learn basic manipulations for correcting abnormal motions and stress patterns within this cavity. The manual techniques are not advised for pregnant participants.
