Mother’s Day can bring joy, grief, gratitude, longing, pride, exhaustion — and sometimes all of them at once.

Today, we honor the mothers who keep showing up, even on the hard days.
The moms in recovery.
The moms healing from trauma.
The mothers raising children while learning to care for themselves too.
The women grieving children, grieving mothers, or grieving the life they thought they would have.

At Breaking Chains, we see your strength.
Not perfection. Not pretending.
Just the courage to keep going.

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman nurturing healing, hope, and growth — in herself and in others. 💜

May is Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) Awareness Month đź’š

Let’s talk facts—because understanding replaces stigma.

BPD is a real and treatable mental health condition that affects how a person experiences emotions, relationships, and their sense of self. It is not a character flaw, and it is not a choice.

🔹 Many individuals with BPD feel emotions more intensely and for longer periods of time
🔹 Fear of abandonment is a core struggle—not manipulation
🔹 Impulsivity and mood swings are often rooted in deep emotional pain
🔹 Trauma and invalidating environments are common contributing factors
🔹 With the right support, people with BPD can and do recover

Treatments like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) have been proven to help individuals build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships.

At Breaking Chains, we believe in meeting people where they are—with compassion, not judgment.

This month, we’re going real.
We’re breaking stigma.
We’re building understanding.

👖 Denim Day April 29th– Stand in Support. Break the Silence. 💙

Tomorrow is Denim Day, a powerful reminder that there is no excuse and never an invitation for sexual violence.

At Breaking Chains Recovery Services, we stand with survivors. We honor your strength, your voice, and your healing.

Wearing denim is more than a statement—it’s a movement. It says:
➡️ We believe survivors
➡️ We support healing
➡️ We are breaking the stigma

Join us tomorrow. Wear your denim. Start conversations. Be part of the change.

đź’™ One day at a time. One voice at a time. One chain at a time.
