Dry needling and acupuncture often get lumped together because they use the same thin needle—but they’re not exactly the same.
Dry needling focuses on tight muscles and trigger points to reduce pain, release tension, and improve movement.
Acupuncture can include that same muscular work, but it also looks at the bigger picture—supporting the nervous system, recovery, sleep, stress, digestion, inflammation, and overall balance within the body.
In my practice, I often combine both approaches. Sometimes the tight muscle is the problem. Other times it’s compensating for poor movement patterns, stress, injury, or dysfunction elsewhere in the body.
The goal isn’t just temporary relief—it’s helping you move better, feel better, and get to the root cause.
✨ We offer both dry needling and acupuncture at Beyond Massage & Acupuncture.
