Your body continues to age. But once your stem cells are banked, they remain the same age and viability as the day they were collected.

That is one of the biggest advantages of banking cells earlier. The stem cell banks we work with can prepare them in large numbers when they are needed, whether that is soon after collection or many years later. My own banked cells are 12 years younger than I am today when I use them.

What if just a few ounces of your own fat could preserve stem cells for use throughout your life? That is the idea behind stem cell banking.

I banked my own cells back in 2011 and have used them multiple times since. The harvesting procedure is done without general anesthesia and uses a minimally invasive technique under local anesthetic. Downtime and discomfort are minimal, with hardly any bleeding and only slight bruising.

A couple of ounces of fat can provide enough cells to place into long-term banking for future use.

Not every peptide is administered in the same way.

Depending on the specific peptide and the desired result, it may be delivered through a nasal spray or a subcutaneous injection.

In this episode, I discuss PT-141, a peptide considered for sexual function, and why the method of administration can affect absorption and the results a patient experiences.

Oral delivery may not always produce the same blood levels because peptides can be broken down in the gastrointestinal tract. That is why subcutaneous injections are often considered when consistent absorption is important.

Watch this episode of Beyond the Fountain of Youth to learn why both the peptide and its delivery method must be selected carefully. URL in comments!

Every injury sets off an intricate biological conversation inside the body. Blood flow increases. Cells communicate. Tissue begins the process of repair.

The question isn't whether your body knows how to heal.

It's whether that process has the support it needs.

StemWave Therapy uses advanced acoustic wave technology to stimulate the body's natural healing response, encourage healthy circulation, and support tissue recovery all without surgery or downtime.

At The Aspen Institute for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, StemWave isn't viewed as a stand-alone treatment. It's part of a regenerative strategy designed to help your body perform the work it was created to do.

The future of medicine isn't replacing the body's ability to heal.

It's helping it heal better.

Peptide therapy and hormone therapy are not interchangeable.

Certain peptides may help stimulate the body’s natural production of growth hormone. However, there are no similarly effective peptides for significantly increasing testosterone production.

That is why age, symptoms, bloodwork, and existing hormone levels all matter. Some patients may benefit from peptide therapy, while others may need direct hormone optimisation.

The goal is not to create superhuman hormone levels. It is to restore foundational hormones to safe, appropriate, and individually optimised
ranges.

Before giving someone human growth hormone directly, I often want to know whether we can help the body produce more of its own.

Certain peptides may stimulate the natural release of growth hormone. In this episode, I discuss options such as CJC-1295, ipamorelin, tesamorelin, and AOD-9604, along with why those complicated names matter less than choosing an approach that fits the patient.

Some patients may be focused on body composition. Others may be interested in recovery, performance, or healthy aging.

The right strategy begins with understanding your goals, symptoms, and hormone levels.

Inflammation does not always come from the same source, which means it should not always be approached in the same way.

In this episode, I discuss BPC-157 and why some clinicians consider this peptide when evaluating patients with inflammatory concerns involving the joints, digestive system, or lungs.

But identifying the source of the inflammation comes first. A patient dealing with a joint problem may require a very different approach from someone experiencing inflammatory bowel concerns or chronic lung issues.

Peptide therapy should always begin with a proper evaluation, not a one-size- fits-all recommendation.
