🩺 Hands-On Learning in Action! 💙💛

What a great weekend on campus last weekend for our Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) students at The Jacquelyn Wilson Fegley ’71 College of Nursing!

Our AGACNP students spent the weekend building confidence and sharpening their advanced clinical skills through hands-on learning and simulation. Students had the opportunity to practice:

🪡 Suturing
🩹 Incision & Drainage (I&D)
🫁 Chest Tube Placement
💉 Central Line Placement
🩻 Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS)
🫁 Intubation
…and so much more!

It was a busy weekend filled with learning, collaboration, and plenty of hands-on practice as our students continue preparing to care for acutely and critically ill patients as future Acute Care Nurse Practitioners.

We loved having everyone together on campus! 👏
