If you’ve been in a calorie deficit for too long, your body may be asking for a break.
Comment "Break" if you want my guide to know if a diet break would be a good move for you.
Not because your metabolism is “broken.”
Not because you ruined anything.
But because living in a deficit for months (or years) on end can make it harder to stay consistent, train hard, manage hunger, recover well, and actually feel like a normal human.
Here’s how to know you may need a diet break:
1. Your hunger feels louder than usual
2. Your workouts feel flat
3. You’re constantly thinking about food
4. Your sleep is worse
5. Your mood is all over the place
6. Your cravings feel harder to manage
7. Your weight loss has stalled for several weeks or months) despite consistency
8. You feel burned out from tracking
9. You keep having “screw it” moments on the weekends
10. You’ve been dieting for months with no real maintenance phase
A diet break does not mean quitting!
It means bringing calories back up to maintenance for a period of time so your body and brain can recover before you push again.
Because sometimes the best fat loss move is not pushing harder.
Sometimes it’s taking a strategic pause so you can actually keep going.
Comment BREAK and I’ll send you my free guide on how to know if you need a diet break.
