We are an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment program for those with Opioid Use Disorder.

We offer individual counseling, peer support services, group therapy, HIV and Hepatitis testing, treatment for Hepatitis C, and much more.

This September, with the support of Imagine Hope, Inc., our team celebrated 48 Hepatitis C cures to date. Completely free for clients and all on-site at our program, as it’s become part of our routine, every-day care. Congratulations to our hard-working staff!

💚You Matter Mental Health Awareness Festival! 💚

We had an amazing time at the You Matter Mental Health Awareness Festival! The event was truly wonderful, insightful, and heartwarming, bringing together the community to raise awareness, share resources, and remind everyone that you matter.

A very special shout-out to Hollie Burris for organizing such a beautiful and meaningful event. Your dedication to bringing the community together and creating a space for connection and awareness is truly appreciated! 💚

As always, we would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Georgia 911 Good Samaritan Law for continuously supporting our community and our clinic by providing valuable resources that allow us to educate, connect, and support those we serve.

✨ Celebrating the Divergent Gala 2026! ✨

The Athens Clinic team was honored to attend the Divergent Gala 2026 and show our support for an organization doing such meaningful work in our community.

We want to give an especially heartfelt shout-out to our incredible Peer Specialist, Paula Renae, and the amazing work she continues to do through Divergent Recovery Center Inc. . Paula’s passion, dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others are truly inspiring. Her work goes far beyond simply connecting people with resources—she helps create a sense of community, understanding, and hope for individuals on their recovery journeys. We are incredibly proud to have Paula as part of the Athens Clinic team and grateful for everything she does to support and uplift our community. 💙

We enjoyed spending time with Samantha Dawn Marlow, one of the Peer Specialists who facilitates our MAR-velous Conversations group at the Athens Clinic. We appreciate the time and dedication she puts in every meeting.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating Divergent, recovery, community, and the people who dedicate their lives to helping others. We are grateful to have been part of such a special event and proud to stand alongside Paula and Divergent in supporting the incredible work they do.

🍔💜 Recovery Fest 2026: A Night at the Retro Diner! 💜🍔

We were thrilled to take a step back in time and join the community for Recovery Fest 2026 at Bishop Park in Athens, GA! This year, the Athens Clinic brought a little retro diner fun to the celebration with a theme centered around good vibes, connection, and community. 🥤✨

Just like a classic diner brings people together around one table, recovery brings people together through connection, support, and shared hope. We were honored to be surrounded by so many incredible organizations and community partners who play an important role in supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Recovery Fest is a beautiful reminder that no one has to walk the road to recovery alone. It takes a community willing to show up, listen, support, and connect people with the resources they need. We are proud to be part of that community and grateful for every conversation and connection made along the way. 💜

💙 Community Partnerships Make a Difference!

A special thank you to Andy from Georgia 911 Good Samaritan Law, Grace from Northeast Health District (Georgia Public Health District 10), and Hannah for joining us at our clinic and setting up a resource table for our patients.

Our patients had the opportunity to receive naloxone kits, helpful information, and other valuable community resources to support their health and well-being.

We’re excited to welcome Georgia 911 Good Samaritan Law to our clinic this Thursday, September 3rd!

During dosing hours, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, they will be hosting an outreach table where community members can receive helpful information and resources related to naloxone and overdose prevention.

We invite our patients, families, and community members to stop by, learn more, and connect with this valuable community resource.

We had such a wonderful time this past Saturday at the Classic City Soul Food Festival! ❤️🎶

From delicious food and great music to incredible entertainment, it was a day filled with culture, connection, and community. We were especially grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many community members and share valuable information about Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Naloxone, helping promote awareness, education, and access to life-saving resources.

A special thank you to Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful community event. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect, educate, and support our community.
And, as always, a huge shout-out to Georgia 911 Good Samaritan Law for their continued support and for providing educational materials and resources that allow us to better serve our community. 💙
