Ohio University Community Health Programs

Wellness for all. We provide experiences in support of medical and health-related education programs at Ohio University.

The Heritage College's Community Health Programs develop and deliver quality medical and health care services for children and adults throughout southeast Ohio. Our services are aimed at addressing unmet health care needs, and are often geared toward clients and patients who lack adequate medical and health care alternatives. CHP offers the following services:

- Family navigation
- Child and adult immunizations
- Breast and cervical cancer screenings
- Diabetes care and navigation
- Adult health screenings
- OMM and Lifestyle Medicine Clinics
- AmeriCorps COMCorps service opportunities

In addition to dedicated staff members, our services are made possible through the generosity of the physicians, optometrists, students and other health care professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. We also support and encourage those who are exploring careers in medicine and health care.

Our team was so pumped to tour the brand new Heritage Translational Research Center, Heritage College's new research building on the OU campus. It will be the new home to Community Health Programs, with a move planned for early December. Watch this space for upcoming information on how to find us!

Free Women's Health coming to Pomeroy on Thursday, October 29! Call our nurses at 740-593-2432 to make an appointment or to ask questions. If we can't fit you in this time, we'll schedule you for a clinic in the coming months.

Three weeks until our next pantry distribution! It will be on MONDAY, November 16! Mark your calendars now to be sure to get the right day!
Come to the Heritage Community Clinic from 5-6:30 pm to pick up some food! See you all at 16 W Green Dr, Athens.
Reminder parking is restricted before 5 pm, and visitors are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 4:30 pm. Thank you for your understanding!

You deserve health care! We provide free, quality care to uninsured and underinsured adults in Southeast Ohio. We'll be in Morgan County in October and November offering primary care and women's health. Call 740-593-2432 for information and appointments.

We at the Heritage Community Clinic are pleased to say that were able to serve 114 households at our pantry yesterday!
This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated volunteers who showed up to help us during distribution, or without our wonderful partners providing supplies. Special thanks to Community Food Initiatives, Rural Action, Snowville Creamery, and the SE Ohio Foodbank for being such reliable sources of food for our pantry. You have our gratitude and we'll see everyone next month
