Athens Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, passionate, and team-oriented Physical Therapist to join our practice. We are seeking a full-time Neuro PT and Ortho PT.
Located at 195 Miles St., Athens, GA 30601, we provide one-on-one, personalized physical therapy from advanced certified clinicians who are committed to using evidence-based practice techniques for improved results.
Athens Physical Therapy offers competitive salary, base 4+ day/40 hour work week (M-Th, 7a-5p; Flex-schedule can be discussed), health, dental and life insurances, 401K match (after 1 yr. of employment), CME assistance, APTA dues paid, and performance-based bonus structure.

• Well-regarded in the community for compassionate care of ortho and neuro patients
• Large 12,000 square feet clinic
• State-of-the-art equipment: Medical and fitness MedX machines, SuperSlow, CorComplete, King Core, ExMI (PEMF), IR and NIR, micro-impact vibration (Juvent), NuSteps, Arc Trainers
• PTs have individual offices/private evaluation rooms. In-house physician for consultations and imaging.
• Attached step-down gym (RxGym) with independent exercise and programming, and offering a variety of classes in several disciplines (Yoga, Tai-Chi, Feldenkreis, Balance etc.)
Ortho PT
• Broad array of ortho conditions for PT prehab, rehab, surgical or non-surgical rehab. About 50% are spine patients, for which we have specialty medical neck and back machines for various conditions.
• As well, we are similarly equipped to treat any long bone or joint condition.
• Dry needling (certification available)
Neuro PT
• Our Athens Neuro and Balance Rehabilitation clinic (within Athens Physical Therapy) is the preferred PT provider for an MS Center of Excellence.
• Because of this expertise, we are asked to manage many others with serious conditions
• Expected proficiency with vestibular, LSVT BIG (certification available); Interest and familiarity working with MS, PD, CVA, MG, and CP patients.

We are looking for a friendly, team oriented, organized candidate with strong customer service and communication skills to work the front desk assisting patients. Your primary job duties will include checking out patients, answering the telephone, answering patient questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. You will also help keep the reception and work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure our clinic provides a welcoming environment for our patients.
Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Helping patients
· Collect and post deductible, co-payments and co-insurance amounts from patients
· Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments for patients
· Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner while using proper telephone etiquette
· Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
· Welcome and greet patients as needed
· Accept new patient information to include insurance cards, ID and intake forms. Scan all information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to the patients chart.
· Print daily schedules and charge slips for each provider scheduled for the day
· Protect patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information (PHI) is secured by not leaving PHI in plain sight and following HIPAA rules.
· Balancing your cash, check and credits cards at the end of the day against charges and charges taken through out the day.
· Keeping up with per-certifications and patient visits as required by insurance plans.

· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Professional attitude and appearance
•Previous medical receptionist experience is preferred but not required.

After 15 years in separate locations, we are announcing that our specialty practice, Athens Neuro & Balance Rehabilitation, will unite with Athens Physical Therapy at 195 Miles Street, Athens, GA 30601. Athens Neurological Associates is growing and plans to expand their services into our Baxter address. We feel that this is a perfect time to merge all of the therapy services we offer in Athens into one address.
