We want to help you insure your passion. We offer a Youth Livestock 4-H/F.F.A. policy for livestock used when showing animals. Insurance coverage may be written to cover loss by death of swine, sheep, goat, beef or dairy calves owned by 4-H or F.F.A. Club members if the animal is part of a project supervised by a county agent, assistant county agent or a vocational agricultural teacher.
This policy is beneficial to those individuals raising, training and ultimately showing livestock at events like at the Georgia National Fair.

Tent spots will not be assigned and will be first come first serve. Please remember to not set up on covered walkways and leave space for walkways between tents as well. Attached you will find the spot layout that is to be used. Please do not set up tents outside of these designated areas. We look forward to seeing all of you at the 2026 Georgia National Fair!

Attached are the barn layouts and the pen assignments for the Georgia National Fair Swine Show later this week. Please thank the Georgia National Fair staff for providing additional pens for the show so that we could pen in the normal manner. Pens are 6’x 6’. Please bring dividers to separate pigs if you want to keep each pig individually housed. Market swine are penned 2 pigs per pen, while the breeding animals are penned 1 pig per pen. This is to account for the potential size difference. There are no extra pens, please do not ask. Please remind your exhibitors that they are allowed to bring a maximum of 3 market swine and 3 breeding gilts, regardless of how many they entered. Pens were assigned based on total pigs eligible to show, not on how many were entered.

A few other reminders.

Pigs may arrive from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday October 14th or from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday October 15th. Please remember that you may not enter the barn before 6:00 PM on the 14th and you must have completed all unloading by 10:00 PM on the 14th. Security will kick you out. Please make sure you bring your health papers.

Swine check in starts at 10:00 AM on Thursday October 15th and closes at 3:00 PM. This is a shorter period then last year, please plan accordingly. All registered animals must be brought to New South Arena for check in and will need the original registration papers for check in. All light cross animals must be brought to New South Arena for verification. For all other pigs, just the exhibitor or their representative needs to come to New South arena
Showmanship starts at 5:00 PM on Thursday October 15th with 12th grade. We will do 12th – 9th grade showmanship Thursday evening and then start with 8th grade showmanship at 8:00 AM on Friday October 16th.

Please remember that there is no trailer parking allowed in the “pecan orchard” area and that all trailers have to be parked outside of the fence.
