I just said I wasn’t cutting flowers tonight and here I am cutting flowers tonight! ☺️✂️

Tomorrow marks ONE YEAR since the farmstand opened so I felt like we needed some flowers to celebrate! 🎊

Fresh cuts, squash, zucchini, eggs, and blackberries will be in the lineup tomorrow along with whatever is freshly picked in the morning.🥚

The sun dried up the rain pretty well and we were able to get into the garden today. In fact, I just cut the stove off from making this year’s first batch of basil hydrosol from the fresh cuttings. 🌱

I haven’t bottled it for sale yet, but we’ll plan to open the stand back tomorrow morning with the fresh picks of the day! Stay tuned to see what they are 👀

‼️Well friends… ☔️ After more than 4 inches of rain yesterday and more in the forecast, the Deeded Oaks Farm Stand will be closed today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday). ☔️

We’re planning to reopen mid-week, weather permitting (as long as our boots get us to the garden and we don’t need a boat). 🛶🥾

Thank you for your understanding while we let nature do its thing and wait on the ground dry out a bit. 🌧️🌱 We’ll keep you posted and look forward to seeing y’all soon 🫶☀️

Thank you for a wonderful week at the farmstand. We appreciate every visit, purchase, and kind word more than you know.

The peaches are starting to ripen, and as Farm Policy requires, I’ve been taste testing this week. 😋 They’re not quite ready for the stand yet, but they’re getting close! Who’s ready for peach preserves on a warm buttery biscuit? 😍

Today we have $5 fresh florals and a selection of our handmade household goods.

Remember that time I said I had a wild idea to plant more flowers?? 😅

Well…those flowers are blooming now. With that being said, there’s a variety of fresh cut florals at the stand, some heirloom tomato baskets, new painted pavers, and fresh off the vine blackberries!

I’ll be adding throughout the day as we make our way through the gardens!

Beans, beans, more beans. 💚

Blue lake, contender, runners, and bush. It seems they got the perfect mix of rain and sunshine this year and the abundance is overflowing. Last weekend we were all in the garden picking and jokingly discussing what our goal of canned quarts was for the year. Thanks to the hard work of Gaga and some all-nighters with the pressure cookers, we hit that goal the first week of the pickings.

So…As long as they keep producing you’ll see some beans ready for you to break and cook at the farmstand this season. 🫛🫘

Happy Friday, friends! I woke up with the birds this morning and got to work building bouquets as the sun came up and my hot tea steeped. We have so many beautiful blooms this season and I am loving it!

So with that being said, the fan favorite blackberry will be at the stand tomorrow morning. Yall, they go fast but expect them to be out there by 8 along with whatever flower creations and veggies come together in the morning 🖤

The flowers were showing off today. ✨

The Arabian Night dahlias came in looking dramatic, the rudbeckia brought the sunshine, the purple yarrow softened everything up, and the canary bird zinnias refused to be ignored. Then the opal basil snuck in and made the whole arrangement smell as good as it looks.

Some days I plan bouquets. Some days the garden does it for me.

Today, the garden had excellent taste.

You’ll be ✨GLAD ✨you stopped by for flowers today. 🌼💐

After yesterday’s washout, we’re remaking our household and beauty products, but the stand is still stocked with plenty of farm-fresh goodness today!

You’ll find:
🌻 Fresh-cut flower bouquets ($5 today!)
🥒 Zucchini and squash
🪴 Hand-painted pavers
🌱 Bug spray and household cleaner

The gladiolus are putting on quite a show right now, and these bright bouquets won’t last long in the summer heat.
