Please join us in congratulating Dr. Tim and Dr. Kate on a successful first year at Sullins Eye Care! Both doctors received their clinical training at Southern College of Optometry and have quickly become valued members of our practice. They have special interests in managing complex ocular diseases and fitting specialty contact lenses.

Also pictured is Ben Sullins, who will be starting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry next month. We are proud that he will be joining us in the eye care world, and we can't wait to celebrate his achievements. The future looks bright! ☀

We are grateful for the trust our patients have placed in us over the years and look forward to many years of continued service to our community.

Today, our offices were recognized for multimodal imaging of inherited retinal disease. State-of-the-art technology is in place in each office to detect, diagnose, and manage ocular health problems such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma at the earliest stages, when treatment is most effective.

Today, Drs. Trey, Stuart, Tim, and Kate Sullins of Sullins Eye Care, PC, and Dr. Stephen Clark of Keylon Eye Care had the privilege of providing pro bono services to more than 100 patients at a Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinic at the Good Faith Clinic in Athens, Tennessee.

Alongside an incredible team of volunteers, including several other medical professionals and students, previously undiagnosed ocular and systemic conditions were identified, and treatment plans were initiated. Several of those may truly change the course of someone’s health.

And for many patients, something as “simple” as an updated glasses prescription meant the difference between struggling through daily tasks and being able to work, read, drive, and fully engage with life again. The RAM mobile optical fabricated and dispensed dozens of pairs of glasses to patients. Moments like these are powerful. Vision is more than sight — it’s independence, dignity, and opportunity.

We’re grateful to serve this community since 1939 and honored to stand alongside so many generous volunteers who gave their time today.
