Country Place Senior Living bingo is always a must on Monday & Friday!!

The residents pick their cards, favorite color dots and sit w their friends for an hour of fun. The competition is fun, but the game itself and fellowship is what they look forward to the most 🩵

We enjoyed a game of cup this morning and it was so much fun! The concentration, patience to not jump the gun, and snatching that cup when it's called keeps the anticipation high. The competition and laughs are awesome for sure 😂❤️

At Country Place here in Athens, size means agility. When a resident's needs shift — whether it's more assistance with activities of daily living, a change in dietary needs, or adjusting their daily rhythm — we adapt. We're not bound by rigid schedules or inflexible programs designed for hundreds of people. Our care plans are fluid. If someone needs to sleep in one day, we adjust breakfast. If activities need to shift to their suite temporarily, we make it happen. If medication timing needs tweaking, it's a quick conversation with our nursing staff, not a bureaucratic process. The small size lets us treat each person as an individual, not a room number.

First Baptist Church Choir monthly visit! ⛪️🎤🎶

The residents look forward to our monthly visit from the FBC Choir! The hymnals and joy have The Spirit moving every time.

Seeing the peace and joy on their faces is priceless as they sing along to familiar tunes. This is a great way for them to have "church" on a Wednesday 🩵✝️🕊️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of entertainment with the talented Bob McClendon! His smooth and joyful songs created a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, and our residents had a great time listening, singing along, and sharing smiles.

We also enjoyed refreshing lemonade 🍋 and snacks 🍪 🥨 while spending time together.

There's never a dull moment when it's time for balloon volleyball 🎈 🏐

Our residence enjoyed a morning filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition while staying active and engaged. Activities like these help, promote movement, encourage social connections, and create joyful memories that make every day special.
