Everything felt so alive in the garden this morning—drenched from the rain, illuminated by the early sun, and overflowing with food, herbs, flowers, and possibility.

The mornings are beginning to feel cooler, even with another stretch of summer heat ahead. We are standing at that beautiful threshold where late-summer abundance meets the earliest whisper of fall.

On August 22, I’ll welcome a small group into this garden for the next Ayurvedic Garden Table. We’ll harvest, prepare and share a seasonal meal together while exploring how Ayurveda helps us receive the nourishment of this moment and gently prepare for the season ahead.

One seat is already spoken for, and I’m so excited to see who else will gather around the table. 🌿

A little room to receive this week. 💜

I have two Seasonal Abhyanga appointments available:

🌿 Wednesday, August 5 at 11:00 AM
🌿 Saturday, August 8 at 10:30 AM

August is a beautiful time to begin returning to rhythm—to nourish summer-worn skin, settle the nervous system and prepare for the gradual transition toward Vata season.

Seasonal Abhyanga is a 75-minute warm oil treatment, currently offered at $115, regularly $125. These late-summer treatments feature my handcrafted Moon Blossom Oil, created to nourish skin that has been living summer. The remaining oil from your treatment goes home with you so the care can continue.

If one of these appointments feels like yours, send me a message and I’ll help you reserve it. You can also schedule through the Ayurveda Care section of my website.

This is the little corner of Treehouse Studio where your seasonal Abhyanga treatment begins. 💜

We don’t immediately head into the treatment room. First, we sit here together for a few minutes and check in.

I’ll ask how you are feeling that day and whether you have any areas of pain, tension or tightness that may need a little extra attention. I’ll also walk you through the treatment and answer any questions before we begin.

There is nothing you need to prepare or know ahead of time. This conversation gives us both time to settle in—and helps me shape the treatment around what your body needs that day.

Receiving care begins with feeling comfortable.

My next available appointments are Wednesday, August 5 and Saturday, August 8. If one feels like yours, send me a message and I’ll help you reserve it.

You can also schedule directly through the Ayurveda Care section of my website.

Fresh herbs are food, not garnish — learn Ayurvedic ways to use and preserve cilantro, basil, dill and more for flavor and healing. 🌿✨

One day out in the field, we were talking about herbs—how at the farmers market, no one really buys them.It struck me because, for me, herbs are one of the reasons I fell in love with Many Hands Organic Farm in the first place. They give out so many of them. Not just a token bunch, but generous ha...

I know I have been sharing a lot of garden harvests lately, but this one is extra special. 🥦💚

This is my first Moonlight broccoli, grown from seed I saved myself.

There is something deeply meaningful about following a plant through its whole story—from seed, to seedling, to garden, and finally to the table. I watched these plants grow in their own different ways, wondered what they would become, protected them from bunnies and worms, and kept trusting the process.

And today, here it is.

Surrounded by chard, zucchini, herbs, beans, and a few sweet strawberries, this harvest feels like a little celebration of patience, abundance, and the magic of growing food.

No two days in the garden are ever the same. Each harvest carries its own story, and today’s story is a very special broccoli. ✨

I’ll be sharing some of this seasonal abundance at the Ayurvedic Garden Table this Saturday. Reach out to me directly to sign up and come spend the season with me. 🌿

As July begins to lean toward August, I often realize just how far I’ve drifted from my usual routines.

Summer does that. Meals happen at different times, bedtime gets pushed aside, and the practices that normally help me feel grounded become a little less consistent. I feel it in my nervous system and in my skin.

August may still be summer, but it is also a beautiful time to begin preparing for Vata season.

In Ayurveda, Vata is influenced by dryness, movement, change and irregularity. As the light begins to shift and we move toward fall, simple routines become especially nourishing: regular meals, consistent sleep, warm cooked foods, daily oiling and intentional moments of rest.

Abhyanga brings many of these qualities together through warm oil, rhythmic touch and time set aside to simply receive. It nourishes summer-worn skin while helping the body and nervous system feel held and grounded.

Beginning September 10, I’m opening additional Thursday afternoon and evening appointments from 2:00–7:00 PM.

Reserve your 75-minute Seasonal Abhyanga by August 31 and receive the special rate of $115, regularly $125. The discount is applied automatically, and your treatment may be scheduled anytime through October 31.

Your treatment begins with a four-ounce bottle of my handcrafted seasonal oil, and the remainder goes home with you so that the care can continue.

Perhaps this transition isn’t asking us to rush toward fall—but simply to begin finding our rhythm again. 💜

One day the garden offers potatoes, peppers, and eggplant. The next it is beets, onions, tulsi, beans, squash, and one perfect little strawberry and sungold tomato 🍅.

No two harvests are ever quite the same.

Every day in the garden is different, much like life.

Some days bring abundance. Some bring only a handful. Some offer exactly what you expected, while others surprise you with something you almost missed.

And yet, each day holds its own kind of magic.

Today’s harvest feels like a reminder to notice what is here, receive what is ready, and trust that tomorrow will bring something new. ✨🌿

Every day is different. Every day is its own little harvest.

A lot of firsts in this harvest.

My first potatoes.
My first eggplant.
My first peppers.
And so much more gathered from a garden I am still learning from every single day.

Nothing here is perfect or uniform. Some things are tiny, some oversized, some a little crooked—and all of it feels like abundance.

These vegetables began as seeds, seedlings, questions, experiments, and plenty of wondering whether I was doing any of it right. Now they are feeding me and my family.

I feel so blessed by Mimi’s Healing Garden. 💚

Not just for the food, but for everything it continues to teach me about patience, trust, attention, and receiving what is ready.

A lot of firsts. A lot of learning. A whole lot of gratitude.

The garden is overflowing.

Five squash a day, herbs spilling into one another, beets growing plump beneath the soil, and more food asking to be harvested, prepared, and preserved than I can possibly keep to myself. 😆

So next Saturday, the garden is setting the table.

The Ayurvedic Garden Table is a small, intimate gathering here at Treehouse Studio—a chance to slow down, walk through Mimi’s Healing Garden, harvest what is ready, and share a seasonal meal created from the abundance growing around us.

We’ll talk about simple ways to use fresh herbs and summer vegetables, how Ayurveda helps us understand what the body needs in the heat of the season, and how to carry some of this abundance into the months ahead.

There is no formal lecture and no need to know anything about Ayurveda. This is an afternoon of tasting, learning, meaningful conversation, and experiencing seasonal living right where it begins—with our hands in the garden and food on the table.

You’ll also leave with a small harvest from the garden to continue the experience at home. 🌿
