March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to shed light on a condition that affects millions of women around the world, including myself. I was diagnosed in 2014, but the symptoms had been a part of my life since middle school. Living with chronic pain is a challenge I wouldn’t wish on anyone, yet through my journey of diagnosis, two surgeries, and learning to understand my body, I’ve found strength in the struggle. I’ve made choices that have brought me relief and peace, and despite it all, I remain deeply grateful for the resilience I’ve discovered within myself. My hope in sharing my story is to inspire young girls and women to listen to their bodies, to ask the hard questions, and to never stop advocating for their health. We are stronger than we know.
