12 years of experience saying 🖕🏼to the diet industry, unlearning everything I was taught in school, and relearning how to eat like a normal person, use the internal calorie counters we were born with, and trust my own body again.

So that I could turn around and teach YOU the same.

Your metabolism isn’t broken. Its not your willpower. You can love your body and still wanna change it.

You deserve to look and feel like a goddess. And I am SO LUCKY that I get to help you get started on that journey.

We’re here to disrupt the diet industry and we are just getting started.

I’m so sick of memes glorifying feeling like s**t like it’s totally normal and cool and so 2021.

Not getting enough sleep, eating garbage, and doing nothing to manage your stress will absolutely make you feel terrible and if you’re doing these things, you deserve to feel terrible bc you’re an adult you know better.

I say this w tough love bc I get it - it’s SO EASY to fall into bad habits and habits are hard to break!

And even though they don’t make us feel good, we find comfort in habits. We can even find comfort in complaining about feeling bad, too.

There’s a reason we repeat bad behaviors - they make us feel good in some way. But the long term (and even short term!) effects aren’t worth it.

If you feel called out, telling me which one you’re going to work on changing this is weekend! A better bedtime? Eating PHFF? Implementing some stress control, like journaling or breathwork? Lmk.

Don’t shoot the messanger!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it's true, you cannot expect fat loss in 30 days after YEARS of dieting.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We do not guarantee weight loss in the first 30 days of Metabolism Makeover because repairing metabolism takes time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sure, we have people who lose weight and inches in the first 30 days. Some of those people might have lost fat (if their metabolism was in a decent place prior to starting the program).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But for most people it's some water weight and also a reduction inflammation - which are both totally good things, and wins we're still gonna celebrate! But my point is, most people don't see major physical changes in 30-days.

What they do see:

🍭better sleep
🍭less cravings
🍭 less food anxiety
🍭 more energy
🍭 feeling more full and satisfied from their meals.
🍭 confidence around meals and food
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fat loss though? Perhaps not.

Long term fat loss comes with TIME.

Anything good, anything worthwhile and valuable in life takes TIME.

Lots of time doing the same healthy habits, over and over and over, consistently.

If the thought of going another weight loss diet sounds gives you actual hives, if it triggers thoughts like “but what if it doesn’t work - again” or “nothing ever works for me”, or if it creates negative feelings towards yourself - read this.

I don’t know everything about you, but I do know you deserve an actual strategy (bc youre smart and smart people like strategies), to stop thinking about food all the time, and to feel like a hot b*tch.

Remember - the doors to open tomorrow morning at 10 AM EST. Make sure you are on the waitlist (link in bio).

“What’s your number 1 tip to start revving up your metabolism?”

Quit dieting all the time!!!

Being in a calorie deficit only works if you do it very strategically and for short periods of time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Long term calorie restriction is your worst enemy when it comes to sustained fat loss (and happiness!).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look at this way - when you are dieting/in a deficit, your body isn’t happy.

It WANTS to be getting enough fuel. It’s like waking up and looking forward to that big cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop, but you’re handed a cup half full and they forgot the cream. DEVASTATING.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drop me a 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️if you are guilty of always (or almost always) trying to diet or lose weight?

And remember - this is my (high fiber) bread and butter. I can help you get your metabolism in good shape again, even after years of dieting, so that it’s easier for you to lose weight and keep it off.

10 years ago I did everything I was told to do in dietitian school.

(Getting drunk on a Saturday morning and tying myself to inter tubes to float down a river was not one of those things but here we are 👆🏼)

🤘🏼Exercised 60-90 min/day.
🤘🏼Tracked my calories.
🤘🏼Worked hard to create as big of a calorie deficient as possible every day.
🤘🏼Ran 5 miles almost every day.
🤘🏼Ordered chicken and broccoli when I went out to eat.

This works for some people, sure. But for me, and for 97% of the women I know, this lead to:

🖕🏼Overeating on weekends.
✋🏼Constant late night snacking (bc I was starving).
👎🏼Exhaustion.
🖕🏼Inflammation.
✋🏼Missing out on fun stuff w my friends bc I was afraid to not be in control of my food.
👎🏼Anxiety. Guilt.

I think dietitians, nutritionists, health professionals, your trainer, and the diet industry all had good intentions when they decided to place such a large focus on calorie deficit.

It just doesn’t work long term for the majority of people long term.

I predict in 10 years we’ll look at over-exercising and under-eating like we do eating low fat peanut butter now. Like unnecessary, offensive hot garbage.

The moment I dumped this idea of “burn more calories, eat less food” and I ONLY focused on what would increase in metabolism at the end of the day, everything clearly changed.

Dropped 20 lbs and with the exception of 🤰🏼 it’s been a breeze to keep off for 10+ years.

It’s not a magic formula. It’s just science.

Doors open to open Wednesday. Make sure you’re on the waitlist in my bio. 😎

If you’d have told me 10 years ago - at 25 - I could feel like this without counting a single calorie and working out 3-4 days a week for only 45 minutes prob wouldnt have believed you.

I started studying dietetics when I was 18 because I was so interested in how food affects performance and the human body.

But shortly after starting school, I became obsessed w calorie counting, over exercising, eating low-fat, low-carb, vegan - you name it. If it was restrictive, I was doing it.

I had the worlds worst relationship w food. A continuous cycle of over and undereating. 60-90 minutes of exercise including running at least 5 miles/day.

I felt and looked like s**t. I gained 20 lbs throughout my college years. I was puffy, inflamed, hungry, and hated how I looked. I KNEW how much bulls**t it was that I was studying how to teach people to lose weight and I couldn’t even do it myself.

Because I *only* go hard or go home, I decided to stop everything I was doing abruptly and try something different. No counting. No more cardio.

I dove into researching human metabolism and was open to this idea that maybe it’s not all about a calorie deficit. Maybe there was more to the story.

I read every book imaginable that provided actual weight loss strategies - and science - vs just a “calories in calories out” approach.

It was pretty crazy how easily the weight came off once I:

a) understood how much my metabolism actually worked.
b) focused on doing things and eating foods that fueled my metabolism instead of frying it.
c) completely changed my relationship w food and became friends instead of frienemies.

When I was able to not only completely eliminate the food anxiety I lived w on a daily basis, but was also able to look and feel the best I ever have year after year - and then repeat this process w dozens of clients - I knew I had to go wide and share everything I knew w the world.

Over 3000 clients later since 2018, is just 👏🏻 getting 👏🏻 started 👏🏻.

When you approach weight loss from a view of increasing your metabolism instead of decreasing your calories, everything changes.

The “I eat healthy but can’t lose weight starter pack”.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but eating squeaky clean all week so you can down 2 bottles of wine and chug hot Cheetos on Friday night (and Saturday…and Sunday…) doesn’t work.

There is truly nothing worse for your metabolism than this wild rollercoaster of over and under eating.

But this doesn’t mean you have to give up your fun on the weekend. Live your life, hunny. Here is what Id actually suggest:

1. EAT ON FRIDAY. I see you “saving” calories all day and coming home hangry. Just eat like a normal person and watch your desire to go overboard go away.

2. Pick 1-2 “events” during the weekend: girls night out, pancakes w the kids, Friday takeout and enjoy yourself. Keep it PHFF the rest.

3. Never go drinking hungry. Just stop doing this 😭 Have a high protein meal before pouring your first drink.

Drop your fav weekend eats in emojis. I’ll leave mine in the comments.
