I spoke recently on the topic of impostor syndrome.

This thought stayed with me…this idea that our world only becomes richer, brighter, and more colorful when people who weren’t previously being heard make their way into new spaces.

What a wonderful thing, to think about new voices as enriching the world rather than being “imposters.”

It sometimes takes an act of bravery to claim space.

In our final day of service, went to the Carlos Martinez Academy to work with the baseball players.

Baseball is a big deal in the Dominican Republic so we went to help the players to keep their bodies safe and keep on playing.

We got to meet Carlos Martinez himself, as well as one of the players who had just been recruited by the Baltimore orioles!

We then had a very intense afternoon treating patients who were referred by a concerned neighbor who was supposed to be the one receiving care.

That’s what community is about.

Yep, sometimes this is my job.

It’s always the best day when I get to take the students to the aerial studio.

Under the expert guidance of we explored aerial dance as a form of physical therapy, and the students got to try something new.

There is nothing more healing than a creative space. This is why I do what I do at .

So grateful for the chance to share what l love with such an amazing group…and so excited to see what they will create after graduation!

We did it! Under the guidance of our fearless leader, we kicked off 2025 CSM with our presentation on gamification in the classroom.

I’m genuinely grateful to have been included, and have to give a shout out to for passing on a great idea to lil ol me to use in the classroom.

The GSU DPT program is repping hard out here. Loads of posters, talks, and free swag!
