Helping someone improve their game isn’t just about technique or getting stronger.

It’s about improving the way they move and what they use to move.

This is one of the things that makes my approach different.

Pickleball-specific training is about optimizing the details that carry over to the court.

In this glimpse of a session, we’re breaking down body positioning and muscle recruitment for balanced, effortless counters and firefights.

✅ Developing body awareness.
✅ Implementing a core-first strategy.
✅ Reinforcing automatic core engagement.
✅ Building a stronger ready position.
✅ Creating more efficient, balanced movement.

These are the principles we continue to reinforce session after session because they directly influence how a player moves, controls their body, and performs on the court.

Awesome having , one of the owners, out in Austin supporting the team this past week.

Back home in Atlanta for a couple of weeks before the mid-season tournament.

Love being a part of this team and looking forward to getting back with the squad soon.

A weekend in New York isn’t complete without checking out the pickleball scene.

Stopped by CityPickle at Times Square and had a great time getting some games in and meeting some awesome people at the facility.

One of the best parts about pickleball is being able to travel somewhere new and instantly connect with people through the sport.

Awesome facility right in the middle of Times Square.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in NYC.

The GOAT of pickleball, .leigh.waters, just said she spends more time in the gym and doing physical therapy than she does actually on the court.

That should get every pickleball player thinking.

At the highest level, it’s not just about working hard. It’s about taking care of your body so you can continue to perform at a high level year after year.

Strength training helps build the foundation.

But physical therapy, mobility work, and recovery are what help keep the body balanced, resilient, and prepared for the demands of the sport before injuries happen.

The best athletes are proactive with their bodies, not reactive once pain shows up.

That is how you stay on the court.
That is how you continue to perform.
That is how you build longevity in the sport.

Same exercise.
Different standard.

Pickleball specific training that truly carries over to the pickleball court is about more than just doing the exercise.

The little details matter.

Control.
Awareness.
Positions.
Intent.

Small differences in how you perform the movement can completely change what you get out of it.

These are the things that make training actually transfer to your movement, balance, power, and control on court.

These are also the details we really get into when we work together.

And inside The Healthy Pickleballer community on Skool, I break these movements down and teach you what to look for and how to perform them the right way.
