Dr. Don Lalonde, the pioneer behind wide-awake hand surgery (WALANT), stopped by to see MC2 at last year. Huge privilege getting a breakdown of this tech & DDR from such an influential figure in the field of hand surgery.

Be sure to see OXOS at starting this Thursday Booth 1911 👋

🤯 What if the X-ray came to YOU? | ad

🩻 Getting an X-ray usually means bringing the patient to an imaging department. Instead of always moving the patient, what if healthcare professionals could bring imaging directly to where it's needed? Whether that's a clinic, sports facility, remote location, or somewhere traditional medical imaging access may be limited?

🦴 That’s what makes this technology so exciting to me. The MC2 by OXOS Medical isn’t just small and cordless, it represents a completely different way of thinking about access to medical imaging. It's actually helping patients around the world. Check out my bio for details on the amazing work OXOS Medical is doing and how you can get it at your facility.

👇 I’m curious... where do YOU think portable X-ray could make the biggest impact?

🏈 FOOTBALL IS HERE! Finally.

We all know the sport is fast and intense. But let’s talk about the less exciting side of football for a hot second: timely injury assessment and treatment. Every minute a player waits for care can have lasting consequences for both the athlete and the team.

🤯 How is this even possible? | ad

🎥 X-ray images like these are typically made possible through Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR). Think of it as an X-ray in motion. Instead of capturing a single image, DDR acquires a series of pulsed X-ray images that when played together, are visualized like a short movie, allowing clinicians to see anatomy in action. This added functional information can provide insights that a traditional X-ray simply can't.

🦴 The fact that these images were achieved with a portable x-ray unit you can hold in your hands is absolutely astounding to me. The MC2 by you see here is cordless and lightweight. What's really amazing about the work they are doing is that it gives healthcare professionals the opportunity to bring x-ray devices with low radiation profiles and capabilities right to the patient. Pretty amazing stuff if you ask me.

🤩 Imaging technology keeps getting more impressive. Have you worked with DDR yet?
