Did you know routine physical exams are recommended once a year if you're over the age of 50, and once every 2-3 years if you're younger than 50 and in good health. If you have a chronic disease or other ongoing health issues, you should see your doctor more often, no matter how old you are.

When was the last time you got your health checked❓

Historically, laboratory results were reviewed by the doctors and were rarely discussed with patients and families. But today, it’s becoming more common for patients to ask questions about their results, and become more knowledgeable about every aspect of their health.

If you are helping an elderly person (relative) manage their health we suggest you always request a copy of your laboratory results. We here at ID Tech Molecular make that part easy because we take the lab results from every sample that we analyze and post it online within 24-48 hours for easy viewing by patients and doctors.

This way, if you ever have questions about your health, or need to see a different doctor, you’ll be able to quickly access this useful information about yourself.
