Our residents at Dunwoody Place had a deliciously fun time celebrating National Rocky Road Ice Cream Day! Smiles were everywhere as everyone enjoyed creamy ice cream loaded with marshmallows, crunchy nuts, and rich chocolate. The sweet treats brought back wonderful memories and sparked lots of laughter and conversation among friends. From the very first bite to the very last spoonful, it was a day filled with joy, fellowship, and tasty fun. Residents were all smiles as they enjoyed a shopping outing to pick up much-needed items and a few special treats along the way. The excitement of browsing the aisles, finding favorite products, and making their own selections brought a sense of independence and joy to the day. Outings like these not only help residents meet their everyday needs but also provide wonderful opportunities for socialization, conversation, and fun. Today was all about smiles, fresh air, and a little shopping fun! 🛒✨ We had a wonderful time taking our seniors out to Kroger, where they enjoyed picking out their favorite snacks, browsing the aisles, and sharing lots of laughs along the way. These outings are a great way to stay active, connect with friends, and enjoy a change of scenery. Making memories together is what it’s all about, and today

Residents of DunWoody Place came out in great numbers for our Town Hall Meeting to hear updates and action plans developed in response to concerns raised during the Resident Council Meeting earlier this month. The meeting provided an opportunity for leadership to listen, communicate, and share solutions designed to enhance the resident experience. Residents were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and appreciated hearing how their voices are helping shape positive changes within our community. At DunWoody Place, we believe open communication and resident feedback are essential to creating a welcoming place where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected.

The residents of DunWoody Place were beyond excited to celebrate National Burger Day with our delicious, juicy slider burgers! The aroma of freshly grilled burgers filled the air as residents gathered together, eagerly anticipating every bite. Laughter, smiles, and great conversation were shared around the table as everyone enjoyed the tasty sliders and festive atmosphere. From the first bite to the last crumb, it was clear these burgers were a huge hit—many residents happily "devoured" their meals and couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. Dunwoody Place residents were truly fired up for their morning exercises today! With smiles, laughter, and plenty of energy filling the room, residents stretched, moved, and encouraged one another every step of the way. From chair exercises to upbeat movements, everyone showed determination and enthusiasm while focusing on staying healthy and active. The positive spirit and teamwork made the morning both fun and motivating, proving once again that our residents know how to start the day strong at Dunwoody Place!

Rod the Music Man had DunWoody Place rocking and rolling as he entertained residents with the classic hit “Mustang Sally!” The room was filled with toe-tapping, hand-clapping, singing, and plenty of dancing as residents enjoyed every minute of the high-energy performance. Rod brought fun, laughter, and great memories to life through music, proving once again that a good song can bring everyone together. From start to finish, the atmosphere was full of joy, smiles, and nonstop entertainment — and “Mustang Sally” definitely stole the show! 🎶🎤🚗💃
