Freedom can start today.
Can we just talk openly and honestly about this quote right here?
"Living with depression is like living in an abusive relationship with yourself."
How many of you identify with this? Or know someone that does?
I know I do.
My self-talk when I am depressed is awful. And it's not like it's easy to see. Most of us hide our depression very well, as we try to get by functionally in life.
It's seen gradually, but often, by the time it's truly acknowledged/noticed, it's too late.
I heard a great message today talking about 'checking in' with friends and family. A simple "how are you" followed by a "no, really how are you?" is so powerful.
If you're down and out, and don't know how to talk about it...you aren't the only one. We (those who suffer from depression) can be ashamed, embarrassed, or maybe even in denial about our state. Fortunately, help is at your fingertips.
MoodyCall is about providing affordable and professional care to people suffering from depression, anxiety and to people that just want to grow and build a great life for themselves and their family.
