An affiliate of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (the Georgia Academy) is the largest organization of food and nutrition professionals in the state. ude registered and licensed dietitians, registered dietetic technicians and nutrition students and interns employed or interning in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics, schools, public health and community agencies, business, academia, private practice and more. Our members are spread throughout Georgia – a network of health professionals ready to serve as resources to the public, media and public policy makers. This page was developed as a key communication tool for Georgia Academy members. It will help the Georgia Academy fulfill its mission and vision to empower members to be the state’s food and nutrition leaders and to optimize Georgian’s health through food and nutrition.
