In honor of Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week, we're taking a moment to recognize the incredible staff who bring warmth, care, and kindness to our Jewish HomeLife communities every day.

They're the kind, familiar faces who greet our residents with a smile, prepare and serve meals with care, and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is well-fed, happy, and feels right at home. Their dedication goes far beyond the meals they serve. It's about the personal connections they build and the comfort they bring to those they care for.

To our wonderful Dietary & Dining Services Staff, thank you for everything you do! Your kindness, compassion, and hard work make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and staff each and every day. 🧡

Simchat Torah was full of joy at The William Breman Jewish Home! 🎶📜

Srochi Hall was filled with music and celebration as residents danced, enjoyed holiday treats, and sang along with our talented Volunteer Manager, Mirie, who played joyful Simchat Torah songs on the piano. Then came a meaningful moment: together, residents unrolled the Torah, each holding a piece of the parchment in their hands, to mark the end of one Torah reading cycle and the beginning of the next.

For several residents, this was their first time celebrating Simchat Torah with us, and we’re so glad to have shared this special day with them. 💜

Thank you to Little Red Barn Mobile Petting Farm for bringing a little extra joy to Berman Commons! 🐐🐥

Our residents and team members gathered in the garden to welcome some very special furry and feathered visitors, enjoying the fresh air, plenty of smiles, and a little hands-on fun.

It was a wonderful way to welcome fall and spend time together as a community. 💚

Our sukkah is ready for Sukkot, thanks to some very special volunteers! 🌿🍂

A heartfelt thank you to The Auxiliary of the William Breman Jewish Home for filling our sukkah with pumpkins, mums, fruit and so much festive spirit for our residents to enjoy this holiday.

Chag Sameach! 🌿

This season of holidays is a time to reconnect, reflect, and share with our loved ones and community. Yesterday, The William Breman Jewish Home celebrated Sukkot with a lunch sponsored by our dedicated Auxiliary members, served in the sukkah they decorated, with finishing touches added by Jewish Kids Groups and our residents.

In the afternoon, we were all delighted by a visit from Little Red Barn Mobile Petting Farm, also sponsored by our Auxiliary! Residents, team members and volunteers gathered in our courtyard to enjoy the animals, and some even got cuddles from bunnies just 8 weeks old. 🐰

Days like this remind us how beautiful and fulfilling life can be, and how gratitude for life's simple pleasures brings us all together. Thank you to our Auxiliary and everyone who helped make this celebration so special!
