Can trigeminal neuralgia come and go?

Yes.

Many patients experience episodes of pain separated by periods of little or no discomfort that may last for weeks to months.

Because symptoms can fluctuate, some individuals delay seeking care, assuming the problem has resolved.

If symptoms are recurring, it's important to discuss them with a healthcare professional. Trigeminal neuralgia is very treatable.
