Live Oak Caregivers is a licensed provider of in-home caregiving services. Whether you need help for a few hours a day or around the clock, we tailor an in-home program that optimizes your quality of life. We take pride in our team approach, which involves our Live Oak skilled nurses and nursing assistants, the client, family members and health advisors. In addition to providing patient care, our caregivers can perform housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, shopping, errands and transportation to appointments. Our promise is to provide professional care and comfort, delivered with respect to our clients and their loved ones.

In addition to providing in-home assistance with activities of daily living, Live Oak Caregivers holds seminars that offer continuing education credits to healthcare workers. Margaret Harman, a case manager in our Atlanta office, manages client assignments and also participates in presentations on health-related topics that help Certified Nursing Assistants expand their knowledge and maintain required professional credentials 💚

Meet Amber Ledbetter | As Live Oak’s Compliance Manager, Amber implements company policies and procedures to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations within the home health industry. Her main responsibility lies in upholding caregiver licensing and certification standards. Additionally, she acts as a valuable resource for staff and management, aiding in maintaining accurate documentation and keeping them informed about any changes to pertinent laws and regulations affecting the company.

Before joining Live Oak Caregivers, Amber accumulated over 15 years of experience in various fields, including customer service, banking, accounting and business administration. She held positions at WellStar Health Systems, Force Marketing Inc., Wells Fargo Bank and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Meet Andrea Ragin, Registered Nurse and one of the founding members of Live Oak Caregivers.⁠

Andrea brings more than 25 years of nursing experience and provides valuable guidance to clients and their families.⁠
⁠
Her background includes work across hospitals, home health and primary care, including her role as Manager of Home Health at Visiting Nurse Health System, Georgia's largest nonprofit home healthcare and hospice provider.⁠
⁠
Before that, Andrea served as Director of Healthcare Services at Interim Healthcare in Atlanta, where she led and supervised staff in providing compassionate, efficient care. Outside of work, Andrea and her husband, Pat, are active members of the Sandy Springs community, where they raised their five children.⁠
