Well, it's snowing here, but a plane should takeoff tomorrow and I'll be back in Atlanta and the calendar will be open toward the end of the week.

So when I went out to my mom's dreaded Christmas decor storage shed and opened the door I was taken aback and thought... Damn!! Someone cooked here! ☠️🎄🎅

My sister did a hell of a job cleaning up and organizing a shed full of Christmas decor.

I've spent the last 10 days doing Homestead chores so I didn't have time to do cleaning and organization, but I did leave this bathroom cleaned literally ceiling to floor for her. Every drawer every flat surface, ever piece of furniture as been moved and scrubbed within an inch of it's life so she has a nice clean guest bathroom if she comes next month.

Maybe we'll make it a thing where each time we visit one of us cleans and organize something to up the anti. Lol 🤣

I just cleaned the bathroom so clearly she won this round with the storage shed organization. 🏆🏆

Sun is up but my voice is not. Dry weather and something in the dusty soil I was working with has irritated my lungs.

I sound like I smoked two packs a day and have a persistent cough.

So no availability this week. I'll be back in Atlanta next week and the calendar will be open.

Got a long winterize chore list for mom's place, so I'm gonna try to knock out the biggest jobs first.

But first I need coffee, some stretching, and a B12 shot.

Trying to get all the outside stuff done in case I don't get it all done. I can come back in December and do the inside stuff.

With the price of food as it is, I could actually see myself doing this to distract from the fact that it's just too damn expensive to fill the refrigerator!

If few tchotchkes, a Thrifted piece of art and bowls, then maybe some fake flowers or fake fruit might make me feel better about the fact that there's no money in the budget for actual food. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Due to the soil issues and the weather, the garden was pretty quiet this season. Not nearly the yield I needed it to be, but we're going to try our hand at fall gardening this year.

Got three greenhouse frames ready to go but first I've got to take a trip out west to help my mom.

When I get back, these will get their covers before the first frost and we'll see if we can get some fall vegetables going.

Only six out of the 50 beds will get covered, but it's enough to see if the soil has been amended and if I can even manage to get things to grow in the fall.
