One of the most important aspects of rhinoplasty is understanding that the nose doesn’t exist in isolation. Its shape, projection, and proportions all influence how the surrounding facial features are perceived.

What if restoring youthful cheekbone definition wasn’t about adding more volume, but repositioning the volume you already have?

As we age, the fat pads and soft tissues that once sat higher over our cheekbones gradually descend. This can make the cheeks appear flatter, create hollowing beneath the eyes, and contribute to heaviness in the lower face.

How does Dr. Stong restore it?

During the KalosLift™, Dr. Stong releases the retaining ligaments that hold the deeper facial tissues in place, allowing him to lift and reposition the descended fat pads and soft tissues back over the zygoma (cheekbone).

What makes the neck component of Dr. Stong’s KalosLift™ more comprehensive?

Creating a beautifully defined neck involves more than tightening loose skin. Meaningful neck rejuvenation depends on how effectively the underlying muscles are released, mobilized, and repositioned.

During the KalosLift™ mini extended deep plane facelift, Dr. Stong uses three key techniques to address the deeper structures of the neck.

1. Extended Central & Lateral Myotomies

Dr. Stong performs extensive, controlled releases of the platysma muscle beneath the chin and along the sides of the neck. This reduces restrictions and allows for greater mobility and more effective repositioning.
