I told the story of my journey so far. The moment I decided to stop playing small. The risks, the pivots, the parts I used to hide. And the reward, getting to help people like you and like past versions of myself 🫶🏼

Turns out being brave, mildly delusional, and a little unhinged about talking openly about s*x and intimacy pays off!

More people have it than know they do. The stigma is wildly disproportionate to the reality.

And yet when you’re newly diagnosed, none of that makes the shame, fear, or grief feel any smaller. I wrote about what actually helps…not the medical stuff, but the emotional journey nobody talks about.

I spent three months in Europe last year for a move that’s still in progress.

For the last several months I’ve been suspended in a holding period. Waiting on dual citizenship. Dreaming about this new life. Sitting with all the uncertainty that comes with choosing something that is this big.

But somewhere in the middle of this process, I am starting to understand intimacy differently.

Not only the intimacy between people, but the intimacy of actually choosing your own life. Of being uncomfortable, but doing it anyway. Of letting yourself desiring something deeply even when the timeline isn’t yours to control. Disregarding the (often unintentional) negative comments that come your way when choosing a path many people don’t understand.

It turns out the work I do with my clients and the work I’m doing with myself aren’t so different after all…
